Cream-On-Cream
A cream-on-cream crested gecko is a pale, low-contrast expression of Correlophus ciliatus in which both the base and pattern fall within cream, beige, ivory, or soft yellow tones. Instead of the usual cream pattern standing out against a darker body, the animal has a washed, layered look where markings are visible by shade, texture, or edge definition. Cream-on-cream geckos may still carry pinstripe, flame, harlequin, or empty-back traits, but the effect is intentionally subtle.
This label is especially dependent on breeder judgment and photography. Lighting, firing state, and age can make a cream-on-cream gecko appear warmer, darker, or nearly patternless, so updated photos and parent examples are useful. It is not an albino form, and care should follow normal crested gecko standards: vertical cover, moderate humidity, ventilation, and a complete diet. Breeding for pale animals works best through patient selection for clean color and healthy structure rather than focusing on a single descriptive name.
