The Alpine Chamois is a distinctive and hardy breed of goat known for its robust build and adaptability to mountainous terrains. The Alpine Chamois boasts a striking appearance, with a coat that predominantly features shades ranging from smoky gray to deep brown, often accompanied by lighter underparts and a distinctive black stripe along its back. Its face is adorned with expressive, dark eyes and pronounced horns that elegantly curve backward.

This breed is highly valued for its adaptability and remarkable foraging abilities, thriving even in the most challenging conditions where vegetation is sparse.
