Jaguar
Morph
Jaguar is an incomplete dominant mutation first recorded in the mid-1990s in coastal carpet pythons in a private collection in Norway. Jaguars have a warm yellow to ochre ground color with the dark pattern broken into scattered blotches, and hatchlings often start out grey. Jaguars commonly show a neurological wobble, such as head tremors or corkscrewing, which varies from mild to severe. The homozygous super form is leucistic and does not survive, so jaguars are not bred to each other.
