Mixed Morph
A mixed morph boa constrictor is a boa whose appearance or breeding label combines more than one recognized morph, strain, or line. These animals may include combinations such as sunglow, ghost, moonglow, jungle albino, motley sunglow, IMG ghost, snow motley, or other pairings built from hypo, albino, anery, motley, jungle, leopard, and related boa traits. Because boa morph names sometimes include both visual shorthand and specific genetic line information, mixed morph is a broad working category.
Keepers should still judge the animal as a boa first, with attention to adult size, temperament, feeding history, and enclosure requirements. Breeders need better records for mixed morphs than for simple visuals because one label may hide several genes, possible hets, or line-specific compatibility questions. A good sale listing or collection record should separate what is proven from what is suspected, especially when Kahl and Sharp albino lines, anery lines, or super-form risks are involved.
