Between mid December and mid January is baby watch and udder fills.
Been a hectic breeding season for my buck. He serviced live cover my herd, and a couple other farms also.
On my own lines the offspring are 0% linebred or inbred. This offers less allele mutations and depression genetic developments.

Last year and this year doelings are the future milk makers, as my older does will get an extra brake of not breeding next year, more than likely (# of bucks born determine this too, need more doe than buck).

Being that I have 2 young bucks yet to utilize from 2 different lines. All bucklings this year will be sold in tact or banded here prior to breeding ages. Depending the girls gender out put, could be doelings sold also. I was very fortunate last year with one of my doe giving 3 doelings. Sale of 2 and kept one.

The anticipation is growing on the farm, for sure!
