Bonnie

Bonnie is an adorable white fluffy highland heifer. She should mature in the mid-miniature height range. Both parents have lots of hair and great conformation.

She is calm and curious like her parents and will be available to transport after weaning at 5-6 months. Feel free to ask any questions about Bonnie in the Activity Timeline below!

Service Description
Your cattle will live with our own Scottish highland cattle and miniature donkeys on our farm on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Nelson County, Virginia.

The animals have access to several covered barn spaces as well as thick wooded areas for protection from severe weather.

The historic farmhouse is available as a vacation rental, and there are also many other places to stay nearby, including Wintergreen ski resort.

Boarding Service Terms & Facility Rules

We try to maintain numbers so that the natural pasture provides plenty of nutrition through the spring, summer, and fall, with local hay fed through the winter months and as needed otherwise. We provide both loose and block minerals and usually have a protein tub out as well. We use 20% protein cattle cubes to keep the herd easily gathered and workable.

Although I'm a veterinarian, I maintain a relationship with a local livestock vet for most services and to always have someone available in case of emergency.

We do not live on the property but have an immediate neighbor who is checking on the animals most days. I am also out there to check on them several days each week.

This boarding service includes unlimited unsupervised over-the-fence visits from the public access road, and up to one accompanied visit per quarter.

Natural breeding service to our AHCA-registered white bulls is included at no additional cost.
All services are governed by the Creatures Standard Boarding Agreement (Terms §21).

Hi, is bonnie registered? Is she chondro negative?
Elliott Garber profile picture
Linnea Young She is not registered, although her sire is AHCA and her dam is IMCBR. She could likely be registered with either HHCA or IMCBR. Yes, chondro negative.
