Wyoming Backcountry Pack Llama

Wyoming Backcountry Pack Llamas raises ccara llamas in Gillette, Wyoming, situated between the Black Hills and the Big Horn mountain ranges, just a few hours from the Wind River Range. Amy Muzzarelli and her family came to llamas through a practical need — after hauling hunting and camping equipment deep into the backcountry by hand, they decided there was a better way. That search led them past horses and mules and toward pack llamas, which have since become a central part of how they experience the outdoors.

The program grew out of hands-on use in real backcountry terrain, and the team invested heavily in learning about llama care, genetics, and training along the way. Their ccara llamas for sale in Wyoming are bred and raised with working pack performance in mind, reflecting the same rugged country they are asked to navigate on the trail.
