WSL Livestock, Chianina cattle, Madison, OH, Lake County near Cleveland, maintains a small herd with emphasis on temperament and conformation. With more than a decade of family farming behind it, the operation follows recommended health-testing protocols and holds membership in the American Chianina Association.

Animals graze on rotational pastures enriched by local soil amendments and receive daily handling to build calm temperaments. The family provides a spacious barn and covered loafing areas to protect cattle through Ohio winters. Michael Decola pairs bloodlines to preserve the breed’s classic muscling while maintaining gentle dispositions.

Calves remain with their dams and are gradually introduced to routine farm life before weaning. This balanced approach aims to produce cattle suited to both show rings and commercial beef programs. Community involvement includes hosting educational visits for students and 4-H members to learn about cattle husbandry and local agricultural programs.
