Winters Plantation

Winters Plantation, Hereford cattle, and Soddy Daisy, TN, is rooted in Southeast Tennessee near Chattanooga. The farm has been raising Hereford cattle for more than fifteen years, maintaining membership in the American Hereford Association and tracking lineage through comprehensive record keeping. Each animal undergoes routine health screening, genetic evaluation and nutritional assessment to support long-term herd vitality.

Calves spend their first months on lush pastures under watchful care, receiving daily handling to foster a calm disposition and early socialization. Adults graze in rotational paddocks designed to encourage natural foraging habits, while sheltered barns offer protection during extreme weather.

Recent calves have demonstrated strong conformation, fertility and feed efficiency traits that reflect the farm’s focus on balanced performance. Winters Plantation also shares its experience with local schools, inviting small groups to observe breeding practices and learn about sustainable livestock management.
