Wildwood Hounds

Wildwood Hounds is a Borzoi and Greyhound breeder in Alpine, CA, within San Diego County near San Diego. Kay Henderson has been breeding sighthounds for over a decade and maintains registration with national kennel clubs. Adult dogs live in spacious paddocks with regular access to sheltered pens and receive routine health screenings to monitor cardiac and orthopedic health.

Puppies are raised in the main house and adjoining yard, where they experience daily socialization with visitors and supervised play on varied surfaces. Each puppy follows a veterinary approved vaccination and deworming schedule, receives nutritional support and begins basic leash training before leaving the property. Several alumni have competed in regional lure coursing events, reflecting the kennel’s focus on sound temperament and athletic build.
