Wildwood Alpacas

Wildwood Alpacas, run by Judy Howe and Sue Hammer, raises huacaya alpacas on a small farm in Woodford, Virginia, situated along the historic Route 2 corridor between Bowling Green and Fredericksburg.

The farm's breeding program centers on producing healthy, easily handled animals whose fleece is competitive in the fiber industry. Judy and Sue are members of VAOBA and have shown their animals at regional events including the VAOBA Virginia Expo, the Maryland alpaca show, and The Futurity. Their herdsires carry documented show records, and select animals in the herd trace back to nationally recognized lines used to reinforce fineness, density, and consistent crimp.
