Valleyragdolls

Valleyragdolls raises ragdoll cats and kittens in Baldwin, Wisconsin, situated in the St. Croix Valley region of western Wisconsin, about 30 minutes east of St. Paul, Minnesota. Sue Gerstenzang operates the cattery out of a renovated 150-year-old farmhouse, where cats and kittens live as full household members rather than in separate housing.

The program is registered with TICA (The International Cat Association) and adult cats are tested for genetic diseases prior to breeding. Kittens receive two rounds of vaccines and are litter trained before placement, going to new homes at 11 to 12 weeks of age. The cattery operates as a closed private residence, meaning no outside cats enter the home, which helps maintain a controlled, low-stress environment for the breeding cats.

Kittens are raised in dedicated nursery rooms designed for safe play and early development, with plenty of daily handling to support socialization. The program produces a wide range of colors and patterns, including seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, flame, and cream, in bicolor, colorpoint, mitted, lynx, tortie, and torbie patterns, as well as mink and sepia tones. For those searching for ragdoll kittens in Wisconsin, Valleyragdolls has been placing kittens with families since at least 2007.
