Tuff Country Farm, Australian shepherds and Russell terriers, Copperhill, TN, is nestled in the southeastern Tennessee mountains near Chattanooga.
Founder Cynthia Ware has been dedicated to breeding for many years, holds memberships in regional and national dog clubs, and requires health screenings for hips, eyes and cardiac function on all adult dogs.

All puppies are raised inside the farmhouse with daily socialization among family members, visiting children and resident livestock, creating a calm foundation before they join their new homes. The farm’s rolling pasture and forest trails encourage early exposure to varied terrain, fostering confident, adaptable temperaments. Its breeding philosophy centers on stability and versatility, traits that suit both family life and working roles on small farms. Each puppy is examined by a local veterinarian before departing, and owners receive detailed health records and care recommendations. Several farm-raised Australian shepherds have taken part in informal herding gatherings, illustrating their natural aptitude.
