Tsarevich Cavaliers, run by Kristine Koroleva, breeds Cavalier King Charles spaniels and golden retrievers in Rio Linda, California, northeast of Sacramento. Their cavalier King Charles spaniel program draws on international bloodlines sourced from kennels in France, Russia, Finland, Spain, and Belarus, with the aim of broadening the genetic diversity behind each litter.

Health screening is a central part of the program. The cavaliers are tested for early-onset familial epilepsy (EFS), degenerative myelopathy (DM), and chiari-like malformation/syringomyelia (CM/SM), and are evaluated by both a cardiologist and an ophthalmologist before being considered for breeding. All dogs are AKC registered and DNA-tested through the club. The family operates on a 2.5-acre property, where dogs live as household companions, and breeding females are limited to one to four litters over their lifetimes before retiring.
