Torgerson Farms breeds Limousin cattle in Artesian, SD, McCook County and the Sioux Falls area. Meghan Torgerson has been raising Limousin cattle for more than a decade, maintaining herd health with annual eye exams, DNA profiling, and performance testing registered through the American Limousin Association.

Each animal enjoys rotational grazing across native prairie pastures while receiving daily interaction to encourage calm temperaments and resilience. Calves live alongside their mothers on open pasture from birth, with individual nutrition plans that adjust to seasonal forage availability. Biosecurity measures include routine veterinary screenings, fenced quarantine paddocks for new arrivals, and detailed health records to safeguard the entire herd.
