Thunder Ridge Wagyu

Thunder Ridge Wagyu, Wagyu cattle, Idaho Falls, ID, Bonneville County and Eastern Idaho near Pocatello, is managed by Isac Simpson. Simpson has built the operation over more than a decade, following Beef Quality Assurance guidelines and attending regional breeding workshops to stay current with herd health and genetics. The herd undergoes routine veterinary screening and carefully monitored nutrition plans to support optimal growth and welfare.

Cattle graze rotated pastures rich in native grasses and receive supplemental feed formulated for each stage of development. Isac values low-stress handling and keeps calves with their dams to foster social bonds and natural behaviors. The farm’s location near the Snake River valley contributes to a mild climate that enhances forage quality and animal comfort.

Ongoing genetic evaluations aim to improve traits like marbling and temperament across generations. Detailed breeding records ensure transparency in lineage and consistent meat quality from one cohort to the next.
