The Pasture North Dakota

The Pasture North Dakota raises purebred myotonic fainting goats in Cummings, North Dakota, a small farm community situated between Grand Forks and Fargo near the Minnesota border. Becca Baumbach runs the operation with an emphasis on environmentally responsible husbandry across all aspects of the farm.

All fainting goats at The Pasture are 100% purebred and registered through the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR), and the herd is tested annually for Johne's disease, CAE, and CL. The farm does not use hormones, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, antibiotics, or synthetic fertilizers. Rotational grazing is a core practice, used to revitalize the soil, support plant diversity, and improve the water cycle on the property. The herd is grass-fed and the animals roam pasture alongside the farm's other livestock and poultry.

For those searching for fainting goat breeders in North Dakota, The Pasture also offers kids suited for pets, 4-H and show programs, and breeding stock. Kids receive CDT vaccinations and preventative coccidiosis treatments before leaving the farm.
