The Grantham House LLC

The Grantham House LLC is a breeder of Hereford cattle in Goldsboro, NC, serving Wayne County and eastern North Carolina near Raleigh. For more than a decade the farm has worked with Hereford cattle and maintains membership in the American Hereford Association.

All breeding stock undergoes routine health screenings, including fertility and hoof evaluations, as well as genetic testing to support robust lineage. Calves are raised on rotational grass pasture with daily handling and gentle introduction to farm equipment to encourage a calm temperament. The farm’s small herd size allows individual care and close observation of animal well-being.

Pasture rotation reduces parasite load and supports diverse forage across seasons. Several offspring have been selected for local 4-H programs and county fairs for their conformation. Their focus on structural soundness and day-to-day temperament has led to healthy calves with consistent growth rates and hardy constitutions.
