T4 Ranch

T4 Ranch offers fainting (myotonic) goats in Shepherd, MT, Yellowstone County and the Yellowstone valley near Billings. It has been raising fainting goats for several years and follows standard herd health protocols including regular hoof trimming, vaccination, and genetic health screening.

Animals live on open pasture with access to shelter, and Heather Or Greg Plath emphasizes gentle handling and early socialization to promote calm temperament. The Plaths maintain meticulous records on breeding pairs and individual health history to support reliable lineage and strong adaptability. Chilly winter months are managed with insulated barn stalls and supplemental hay feeding to keep goats comfortable through seasonal changes.
