Sunset Farm

Sunset Farm is a Scottish Highland cattle breeder in Ashton, ON in eastern Ontario near Ottawa. Robert Murray has raised Highland cattle for more than a decade as a member of the Canadian Highland Cattle Society, ensuring every animal undergoes routine health testing and close evaluation for temperament.

Animals live in open pastures with shelter that’s cleaned daily and receive hands-on time to encourage calm, curious dispositions. This long standing farm keeps a small herd to preserve genetic diversity and family style care that has earned praise for gentle nature. Most calves are socialized with children and exposed to basic handling before they leave the property, helping them adapt smoothly to their next homes.
