Sun Valley

Sun Valley breeds dachshunds in Fort Pierce, FL, St. Lucie County and the Treasure Coast near Port Saint Lucie. Owned by Teya Marie, it draws on more than ten years of hands-on experience and maintains membership with national breed clubs. All breeding stock undergoes hip, heart and eye testing on recognized health protocols, and puppies receive veterinary checkups and age-appropriate vaccinations before placement.

Puppies are raised indoors in a family environment with daily enrichment, early socialization with children and other pets, and basic grooming routines to ease their transition home. Teya Marie considers temperament a priority, focusing on gentle handling techniques and consistent exposure to home noises and variety of surfaces. A recent review mentioned clear communication about lineage and a relaxed atmosphere that helped newcomers feel at ease during visits to the property. Health records are provided with each puppy along with guidance on diet, exercise and basic care based on real experience rather than generic advice.
