Starland Farm

Starland Farm, miniature zebu, Marion, Ohio, is based in north central Ohio near Columbus. It participates in the American Zebu Association registry and follows recommended health screening protocols for calving ease and parasite control. Owner Dennis Cheatham raises each calf on rotational pasture, combining natural grazing with daily handling to promote a calm temperament. The farm evolved from a private homestead and now focuses on producing gentle, well-marked animals suited for small-acreage operations. Several of the herd have placed in county fairs for breed characteristics and temperament, reflecting care given to structure and socialization.
