Anna Squires and her husband Matt run the operation as a small, family-owned farm rooted in agricultural backgrounds — Matt grew up growing blueberries in Tacoma and Anna raised highland cattle in the San Juan Islands.

The farm specializes in mini silky fainting goats as well as mini myotonic goats, offering fainting goats for sale in Washington state in both short and long-haired varieties. Squires Farm and Ranch is a closed herd, and all animals are tested annually through WADDL at Washington State University in Pullman for transmissible diseases, maintaining a herd free of CAE, CL, and Johnes.

The program holds memberships in both the Myotonic Goat Registry and the Mini Silky Fainting Goat Association, reflecting a commitment to breed standards across both varieties they raise.
