Spikes Farm

Spikes Farm is a dorper sheep breeder in Early, TX, serving Brown County and the western Texas region near Abilene. Gabe Spikes has nurtured this flock since 2015, upholding the American Dorper Sheep Breeders Society’s standards and carrying out comprehensive health testing on breeding stock.

Lambs are raised in a climate-controlled barn before joining the main flock on open pasture where they learn grazing patterns and social skills. Daily handling helps maintain calm temperaments, and rams and ewes are rotated through grass paddocks to promote soil health and natural foraging behavior. Fencing is designed to keep predators out without disrupting local wildlife corridors.
