Southern Corgis

Southern Corgis, Cardigan Welsh corgis and Pembroke Welsh corgis in Phelan, CA, San Bernardino County near San Bernardino. Ron Ratliff has bred corgis for more than a decade, is a member of the American Kennel Club and performs health screenings for hips, eyes and cardiac function. All breeding adults undergo genetic testing to ensure healthy lineages.

All dogs live on a small ranch with climate-controlled indoor kennels and secure outdoor runs. Puppies enjoy daily socialization with children and other pets, basic obedience sessions and supervised exploration of the surrounding desert landscape. The kennel’s focus on mental enrichment and gentle handling lays the foundation for confident, adaptable companions.
