Sleigh Bell Ranch

Sleigh Bell Ranch raises Hereford cattle in Roberts, Montana, in the Yellowstone River valley near Billings. The ranch follows guidelines from the American Hereford Association and conducts routine health screenings to support a thriving herd.

The herd grazes on rotational pastures, and calves are introduced to handling early to foster calm temperaments. Facilities include a winter calving barn designed for comfort and easy monitoring, along with shaded loafing areas for summer relief. Transparent breeding records are kept for each animal, reflecting a focus on consistent growth, sound structure and meticulous herd evaluations.

Established more than twenty years ago, the ranch began as a family operation and those traditions inform decisions on pasture rotation and herd management. Several breeding females have placed in local livestock shows, and visitors often note the caring atmosphere and commitment to sustainable land use. Daily hands-on care happens on site year-round.
