Sibirskaja

Sibirskaja is Nancy Brown-Burch's TICA-registered Siberian cat cattery in Butler, Pennsylvania, serving the greater Pittsburgh area of Western PA. Nancy has been breeding purebred Siberian cats for nearly two decades, making Sibirskaja one of the more established sources for Siberian kittens in Pennsylvania.

Before focusing on Siberians, Nancy spent 19 years breeding Jack Russell terriers, and her background with that high-energy, people-oriented breed shaped what she looks for in her cats. The program registers all cats and kittens with TICA and focuses exclusively on traditional Siberians.

Health protocols at the cattery are notably specific: adults are screened for HCM by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist, and the cattery has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Nancy uses only non-adjuvanted vaccines to avoid the cancer risk associated with adjuvanted formulations, and kittens are wormed on a set schedule before leaving for their new homes. All kittens are placed under a no-declaw policy, which is written into the purchase contract, and are homed as indoor-only cats.
