Shooting Star Hobbies is a breeder of fainting (myotonic) goats in Platteville, WI, Grant County and the Driftless Area near Madison. Antonia Maria Rucker has been raising fainting goats for several years and adheres to American Goat Society guidelines for health testing, vaccinations and breeding records. Animals live in spacious outdoor pens with regular handling, daily pasture time and access to shelter year-round.

Each kid is socialized from birth and introduced to the sounds and routines of farm life alongside other livestock. Visits to the farm often reveal their calm temperaments and resilience in varied weather.
