S & S Ranch

S & S Ranch is a breeder of fainting (myotonic) goats in Saint George, GA, southeast Georgia near Savannah. It has been developing its herd over several seasons with attention to temperament and conformation, following national goat association guidelines and conducting routine health screenings. The ranch maintains detailed breeding records and performs genetic tests to support the long-term wellness of the flock.

Animals at the ranch graze on fenced pasture and receive fresh hay, mineral supplements and regular hoof trimming. Each kid is socialized from an early age through daily handling and minor exposure to farm activities. Owner Scott Robst applies a small-scale, hands-on approach that balances traditional farm practices with modern husbandry. The farm’s quiet woodland setting offers a low-stress environment that contributes to the goats’ steady growth and calm disposition. Several herd members have received ribbons at regional livestock fairs for their uniform body structure and calm temperament.
