RQL Farm

RQL Farm raises Tunis sheep in California, MO, in the Lake of the Ozarks region near Jefferson City. Owner David Rock has worked with Tunis sheep for more than a decade, participates in national livestock associations, and also performs annual health testing in collaboration with a local veterinarian.

The flock grazes on rotational pastures enriched by native grasses and shelters in a well ventilated barn that David checks daily. Lambs are raised inside the barn with access to an outdoor pen for early socialization, then gradually introduced to pasture grazing. Feed consists of locally sourced hay and mineral supplements to support healthy growth.

RQL Farm participates in heritage breed conservation and offers healthy stock suited for both fiber and meat production. Visitors to southern Missouri farms often comment on the friendly nature of the sheep and the farm’s peaceful setting.
