Rossi River Minibulls raises AKC miniature bull terriers in Denton, North Carolina, a rural area situated between the Appalachian Mountains and the Atlantic coast in the heart of the state, not far from the Greensboro–High Point metro area. Cassidy Hammonds oversees the program on 16 acres of land surrounded by national forest, giving the dogs room to roam in a natural setting.

DNA screening includes tests for primary lens luxation, lethal acrodermatitis, and laryngeal paralysis, with the program's adults among the first 100 miniature bull terriers tested for lethal acrodermatitis when the AHT developed that test in 2018. Full Embark genetic panels are also run to check for additional hereditary conditions.

The breeding stock draws from international lines, with dogs sourced from top breeders in Spain, Russia, Poland, Estonia, and the United Kingdom.
