Rose Tree Goldens
Rose Tree Goldens raises golden retrievers in Guyton, Georgia, in the greater Savannah area. Lyndsay Halligan runs a small, home-based program focused on health testing and conformation competition rather than volume production.
All dogs in the program are AKC registered and cleared through OFA and CHIC protocols covering hips, elbows, heart, and eyes before being bred. Goldens here compete across a range of AKC venues, including conformation, hunt tests, rally, obedience, dock diving, and FastCAT, and many also hold Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, and therapy certifications.
Puppies are raised inside the home alongside children and other pets, with Puppy Culture and Early Neurological Stimulation incorporated from the start. The program selects for health, temperament, and working ability rather than coat color, and the dogs produced reflect a range of golden shades within a single, unified breed. Families looking for a health-tested golden retriever in Georgia will find a program built around title-earning dogs and hands-on home rearing.
