Rocky Road Farm

Rocky Road Farm, Tunis sheep, Bath, NH, is located in Grafton County and the White Mountains near North Conway. The farm has been raising Tunis sheep for over 15 years and holds active membership in the American Tunis Sheep Society. All breeding stock undergoes routine health screenings for parasites, foot rot and common ovine concerns through a local veterinarian.

Their flock grazes on rotated pastures throughout spring and summer and shelters in spacious barns cleaned daily, while lambs are socialized by hand from an early age to develop calm temperaments. Owner Kida Smith oversees each lambing season, ensuring ewes and lambs remain together for a minimum of eight weeks to build strong maternal bonds and support healthy growth. On-site wool demonstrations at county fairs highlight the breed’s fine fleece, and offerings reflect the farm’s focus on sustainable practices, gentle handling and long-term flock stewardship.
