Rock Ranch Family Airedales

Rock Ranch Family Airedales raises airedale terriers in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountains region of the northeastern part of the state, roughly an hour from Scranton.

Run by Lorna and Bob Burns, the program is rooted in more than 26 years of life with the breed. The Airedales grew up alongside the Burns children and have since become part of the lives of their grandchildren as well. The family also operates a small horse farm, and both Lorna and Bob bring a background in horse training and breeding to the way they think about animals in general.

The Burns approach to airedale terrier puppies in northeastern PA is deliberately family-centered. Litters are planned with confirmed homes in mind rather than bred speculatively, reflecting a view that responsible placement matters as much as the breeding itself.
