Quarter Circle C Ranch

Quarter Circle C Ranch is a breeder of Chianina cattle in Wessington, SD, in eastern South Dakota near Sioux Falls. One owner, Kent D Clarke, has been raising Chianina for over 15 years and maintains active membership in the American Chianina Association with routine health testing for genetic soundness. Its herd thrives on rotational grazing across well-drained pastures, and every calf benefits from early socialization with family members in a low-stress setting.

The ranch’s focus on structural soundness and marbling has earned several state fair champion ribbons, reflecting careful selection rather than large-scale production. Cattle are managed with individualized attention from birth to finishing, and each animal’s growth and temperament are tracked in detailed records.
