Powerline Pastures

Powerline Pastures, Murray Grey cattle in Depere, Wisconsin, raised in Brown County and the Fox River Valley near Green Bay. They participate in the American Murray Grey Association and follow recommended genetic and health-testing protocols, keeping detailed records on each animal.

Their pasture-based herd grazes on rotational paddocks with open-sided shelters, fresh water and local hay blends in winter. Calves are gently handled from birth and sorted into small groups to support calm temperaments and steady growth. Pastures rotate every two weeks to maintain grass health and foster a diverse forage environment that benefits soil and herd nutrition. Health records track breeding cycles, growth milestones and vaccination history, reflecting the farm’s care-focused approach. Owners Amber and Nicholas Dobberpuhl combine practical husbandry experience with a commitment to sustainable beef production, honoring the breed’s natural strengths and contributing to local agricultural heritage.
