Perfection Poodles

Perfection Poodles is Christine Boothman's home-based program in Pullman, Washington, focused on AKC-registered poodles in the heart of the Palouse region, about an hour and a half south of Spokane.

Christine and her husband Rodger came to poodles after years of raising Labradors alongside sheep, horses, goats, and chickens on their family property. The shift happened when family members with sensitivities to dog dander joined their household, and low-shedding poodles became the practical and beloved solution. The program produces both miniature and moyen (petite standard) sizes, with a noted emphasis on red coats. Breeding dogs are health tested — at least one dam has been cleared for IVDD/CDDY — and each puppy receives a six-week wellness exam, first immunizations, and AKC registration paperwork before going home.

Poodle puppies in Washington from this program are raised inside the family home and given supervised outdoor time in a grassy side field, with regular handling and socialization built into daily routines. Personality assessments are also part of the process, used to help match individual pups to the right households. Families across the Pacific Northwest have adopted from Perfection Poodles, with some in the Portland and Seattle areas receiving delivery arrangements directly from Christine.
