Owyheestar Weimaraners

Owyheestar Weimaraners breeds Weimaraners in Ontario, OR, Malheur County and the Treasure Valley near Boise. Owned by Cliff Nielsen for more than a decade, it is a member of the Weimaraner Club of America, and its adults are registered with the American Kennel Club and undergo health screening for hips, elbows and eyes.

Puppies spend their first weeks underfoot in a family home and join daily play sessions in open fields on the Nielsen farm. Careful socialization with children, household pets and local wildlife builds confidence and adaptability. The kennel draws on years of hunt test participation to select working lines known for balanced energy and gentle temperament.

Each litter remains small to ensure personalized guidance during early training milestones. Under veterinary oversight, adult dogs follow a diet formulated for active working breeds to support their energy levels and joint health.
