Desert Rats Kennels

Desert Rats Kennels breeds French bulldog, German shorthaired pointer and weimaraner in Las Vegas, NV, Clark County and the Mojave Desert near Henderson. Owner Boris Petkov has been breeding for more than a decade and follows American Kennel Club guidelines with health testing for hips, eyes and cardiac function. The dogs grow up in a family setting where early socialization and supervised play are part of daily life. Each puppy starts on a balanced diet that meets breed-specific nutritional needs, with local vets guiding vaccination schedules.

The kennel’s yard includes temperature-controlled shelters and shaded outdoor runs to suit the desert environment. Puppies receive exposure to household sounds, basic leash training and gentle handling from multiple caregivers.
