Outlands Ranch

Outlands Ranch breeds golden retrievers and Pembroke Welsh corgis in Anson, TX, in north central Texas near Abilene. Operated by Amanda Nicholson for over ten years, the ranch is a member of the American Kennel Club and follows recommended health testing for hips and eyes. Each puppy begins life in a family setting, with daily socialization on the open ranch and safe access to pasture and indoor shelter.

Amanda’s approach combines traditional ranch life with modern welfare standards, allowing dogs to learn herding skills alongside regular interaction with children. Outlands Ranch sits on sprawling pastureland where each adult dog enjoys daily turnout and climate-controlled kennels at night. Several litters have produced therapy dog candidates that volunteer at local schools, reflecting the breeder’s focus on temperament and well-balanced manners.

Visits are arranged by appointment, and ongoing support is offered as puppies settle into their new homes.
