Olga Tatarenko

Olga Tatarenko raises Saint Bernards in Delta Junction, Alaska, about 100 miles south of Fairbanks in the interior of the state. Her dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club and draw from a wide range of bloodlines spanning the United States, Europe, and beyond, including lines from Poland, Serbia, Brazil, Russia, and Norway.

The program emphasizes a dry-mouthed type, a trait produced by a slightly tighter jaw structure that distinguishes these dogs from the more common wet-mouthed variety. Coat variety is also a feature of the program, with puppies available in short, medium, and long hair lengths. All puppies are vaccinated and dewormed before going to their new homes.

In addition to Saint Bernards, Olga also breeds Akitas, German shepherd dogs, golden retrievers, and Yorkshire terriers, making her program one of the more varied sources of AKC-registered puppies available in interior Alaska.
