Ohmystars Ragdolls raises ragdoll cats in Buckley, Washington, a small town in the shadow of Mount Rainier, roughly 30 miles southeast of Tacoma. The cattery is run by Laura Holder, DVM, whose more than 20 years of experience as a small animal veterinarian informs every aspect of how the program is managed.

Breeding cats at Ohmystars are selected to closely match the current breed standard in both appearance and temperament, and they are evaluated in the show ring as part of that process. The program focuses on traditional pointed ragdolls with blue eyes, following the lineage developed by the Daytons rather than the mink and sepia lines. Color and pattern diversity is also a consideration, with the goal of offering a range of options across different litters.

Kittens are raised inside the family home alongside children and resident rescue cats, handled from birth to build trust with people, and gradually socialized into everyday household life before going to their new families. Ohmystars takes a matchmaking approach to placements, factoring in a buyer's lifestyle, living situation, and personality when pairing families with kittens. Parental genetic testing records and pedigree documentation are available to buyers upon request.
