Oeltjenburns Farm

Oeltjenburns Farm raises fainting (myotonic) goats in Belgrade, MN, Stearns County and central Minnesota near St. Cloud. Owned by Sarah Oeltjenbrun, the farm benefits from more than a decade of breeding experience and maintains careful health testing through the American Dairy Goat Association. Each animal is registered, with hoof trimming, vaccinations, and regular veterinary checkups to support long-term well-being.

Goats live in a mixed pasture and barn setting, where they receive daily fresh forage and sheltered space during colder months. Early socialization includes bottle feeding and gentle handling to foster calm temperaments suited for smallholding families and 4-H participants. Over the years, several of their kids have earned recognition at local dairy goat shows, reflecting a balanced focus on sound conformation and friendly disposition.

The farm’s barn blends original timber framing with newer shelters designed to improve ventilation and hygiene. Sarah takes part in daily milking and shares knowledge with visitors, welcoming local school groups for lessons in small-scale sustainable farming.
