Nimbus Farm Alpacas LLC

Nimbus Farm Alpacas in Berryville, Virginia has been raising huacaya alpacas in the northern Shenandoah Valley since 2018. Erin Brown and Kim Mccamon operate the farm as a family-owned program focused on healthy animals with gentle dispositions, superior fleece qualities, and diverse genetics.

The farm is a member of the Alpaca Owners Association and has been featured in the AOA's Membership Monday spotlight. Animal handling follows the CAMELIDynamics method, a science-based approach to building trust and confidence with camelids. The herd's fleece is processed with a hands-on commitment to sustainability, with fiber cleaned, carded, spun, felted, and woven by hand, with additional processing done through partnerships with local mills.

Nimbus Farm also offers by-appointment farm tours that walk visitors through the full fiber process from harvest to finished product, making it a working resource for those interested in alpacas for sale in Virginia as well as fiber arts. Located about 20 miles from Winchester in Clarke County, the farm attends AOA shows and vends at local markets and fiber festivals throughout the region.
