Newberry Hill Farm

Newberry Hill Farm is a breeder of fainting (myotonic) goats in Alma, AR, northwest Arkansas near Fort Smith. Gerald Reeves has managed the farm for more than ten years and follows standard health screening protocols in line with recognized livestock associations.

Goats are raised in pasture-based pens with daily handling to support gentle temperaments and natural foraging behaviors. Reeves selects for strong foot health, sturdy bone structure and a calm disposition to preserve the breed’s unique traits. Fenced paddocks provide natural shade, shelter and clean water year-round, while kid socialization includes regular handling from birth. The farm uses rotational grazing to maintain pasture health and reduce parasite risks. Reeves also participates in youth agricultural programs through local 4-H chapters.
