Moore Newfies
Moore Newfies raises Newfoundland dogs in Palisade, Colorado, a small Western Slope community near Grand Junction and roughly four hours from Denver. Sarah Leanne Gray started the program in 2010 with a focus on health, temperament, and the traditional color and conformation standards outlined by the AKC.
The breeding stock draws from both American and European imported bloodlines, producing Newfoundland puppies in Colorado from pedigrees that include champion titles on both sides. Each litter is bred with attention to AKC-standard coat colors — black, brown, and landseer — and the program offers both pet and show quality placements. All adult dogs come from AKC-registered, health-tested bloodlines, and each puppy is backed by an extended three-year health and genetic guarantee.
Socialization begins from birth, with the program's six daughters playing an active role in the puppy nursery from the earliest days. That early, family-centered exposure is a deliberate part of how Moore Newfies prepares each newfie for life in a home environment. Puppies also go home with a litter blanket to ease the transition to their new families.
