Mimms Herefords

Mimms Herefords raises Hereford cattle in Lorenzo, Texas, on the South Plains roughly 40 miles southeast of Lubbock. The operation traces its roots back to 1969, when it was founded by J.E. Mimms and Hal Martin, making it one of the longer-standing registered Hereford programs in the region.

Today the ranch is carried forward by multiple generations of the Mimms family, with J.E.'s son Brady and grandsons Rhett and Ryan at the helm. That multigenerational continuity is reflected in the ranch's involvement with the Texas Hereford Association, of which Mimms Herefords is a listed member. The program offers both horned and polled Hereford bulls, as well as cows, pairs, and show and replacement heifers, serving buyers looking for Hereford cattle for sale in Texas across both breeding and showring settings.
