Mil-Sid Farm raises Suffolk sheep in Schoharie, New York, in the heart of Schoharie County about 40 miles southwest of Albany. Josh Miller is the operation's driving force, balancing a family business and a deep commitment to producing Suffolk seedstock that performs in any barn.

Miller's breeding philosophy took shape in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when he closely followed the Peifer flock and developed a clear preference for volume, mass, bone structure, and overall style in his sheep. That influence became foundational: the current ewe base remains deeply rooted in Peifer genetics, with select ewes later added from the 5StarJ, Craft, and Lansing flocks to broaden the program.

The farm has built a national show record over the years. A pivotal ewe nicknamed "The Blue Collar Bombshell" began turning heads at major shows around 2010, and a base ram called "Tripbute" followed with national champion titles in 2012. Mil-Sid Farm has also claimed High Selling Ewe honors at the Ohio Showcase Sales multiple times. Miller's stated goal is to raise Suffolk seedstock with the kind of useability and functionality that serves everyone from a beginning showman to a large commercial operation.
