Middle Branch Poodles

Middle Branch Poodles raises AKC standard poodles in Canadensis, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono Mountains region northeast of the Allentown area. Loree Guthrie, a retired school administrator, established the program after years of living with standard poodles and brings a small, home-centered approach to standard poodle puppies in PA.

The breeding dogs are health tested and draw primarily from the Oak Hill line, with additional dogs sourced from carefully chosen programs. All dogs live in the home rather than in a kennel, and early socialization is a priority before puppies go to their new families. The program emphasizes color variety, with parti, phantom, red, sable, and other coat patterns represented in the breeding dogs.

Litters are kept small, reflecting a quality-over-quantity philosophy, and puppies are registered with the AKC.
