Meredith Suttle

Meredith Suttle is a breeder of Shire horses in Clarksburg, West Virginia, in north central West Virginia near Pittsburgh. With more than a decade of experience, she is a member of the American Shire Horse Association and arranges regular veterinary exams, vaccination protocols, and routine farrier care for all stock.

Her Shire horses live on pasture-rich fields with shelter in spacious barns, where they are accustomed to daily turnout and gentle handling from foaling onward. Foals receive early socialization in small groups and basic ground training to foster their calm temperament and build confidence for diverse roles.

Meredith maintains a retired draft mare herd that serves as valuable mentors, sharing pasture time and providing companionship for younger horses. Many graduates of her program have gone on to driving competitions and therapeutic riding centers, reflecting a balanced approach to heritage preservation and modern versatility.
